The Peel Regional Police is facilitating this information session. Participants will learn to recognize high-risk environments, including parking garages, secluded/inactive/poorly lit areas, ATM’s and elevators. They will get information about high-risk behaviors, such as wearing high value jewelry/ earphones, taking short cuts, ignoring a door knock, cell phone distraction and what to do if approached by strangers asking for something. Participants will also get information about do’s and don’ts to improve their safety.
