Local Immigration Partnership

Want to get involved in community planning?

CCS leads the Local Immigration Partnership in the Toronto East Quadrant (TEQ LIP), a community-based initiative that supports the development and implementation of local newcomer settlement strategies and partnerships that use resources efficiently  in strengthening the ability of the  Scarborough community to help newcomers  adapt to and integrate in their new surroundings.

Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), TEQ LIP provides a place for organizations, institutions and community members with diverse expertise to work together to make our community more welcoming, open and responsive to the needs of newcomers.

Scarborough Newcomer Needs and Trends Report Project (SDI)

The Scarborough Newcomer Needs and Trends Report Project assists organizations in working together to maximize use of service delivery data and analysis to identify newcomer service trends. The project creates a platform that enables diverse organizations to pool service delivery and other public data for joint analysis and produces regular reports that help agencies have better and more timely evidence-based information for program planning and funding proposals.

The project is led by the Toronto East Quadrant Local Immigration Partnership (TEQ LIP), with Catholic Crosscultural Services as the lead agency, in partnership with the University of Toronto (Scarborough) and guided by an advisory committee of representatives from participating organizations.
